    Hello all,

In our database we have a table called wp_pageviews that has 474,000 records and is causing our site to crash.

Does anyone know what this table is? Is it critical to keep? I haven’t found any information on it, except for this post http://wordpress.org/support/topic/275595?replies=3

I followed Michael’s advice and was unable to find any files with wp_pageviews in the code.
I also found this http://featurific.com/support/thread-73.html?highlight=wp_pageviews, and it’s possible that Featurific was at one time installed on the server, but no longer is. I downloaded the plugin and searched their files but haven’t found it there either.

If anyone knows, I’d appreciate it. We’d like to delete the tabel, but I don’t want to cause any other problems with the site (if it’s an important table to keep in wordpress).

    Thanks,
    Ty

So you don’t know what plugin needs that table…

If the table is not growing, then backup the table then DROP that table.

Thanks, Michael. I’ll try that. Obviously I’m not very accustomed to using phpmyadmin.

    Thanks for the solution.
