# WP_Member registration

* The registration form is not working. However, members continue to login and
work. Need some help to check why is registration form not working.

* What isn’t working about it? Could you describe the problem you’re having? Unfortunately“
not working” is rather broad and doesn’t give me enough information on where
to direct you.

When a new user tries to register, a dialog text used to appear “Congratulations!
Your registration was successful.
You may now log in using the password
that was emailed to you.”
* But now, the registration form seems to be not working properly. There is no
dialog after clicking submit button and no user is registered.
* The short code in “register” page is
[wpmem_form register] This displays when
logged in [/wpmem_form]
* It used to work a month ago, don’t know why it stopped working.
Please help.

* I took a look at your form. In addition to what you described (no success message
and no user inserted), it does not display an error state (such as a field not
being submitted), and when going back in the browser, the field state is cleared.
* This suggests that you have some over-aggressive caching. That could be a plugin
or server-side (such as Varnish). That would be what I’d suggest looking into.

* Status: resolved
