# wp_mail claim

 * Rootspersona claims the wp_mail function, thereby making it impossible to use
   wpMandrill (which I use for sending emails). As this problem also existed for
   only plugin developers it is possible to resolve this problem.

 * I am not sure what you are saying. wp_mail is not part of Rootspersona, nor does
   the plugin use it.

 * That is strange, since disabling Rootspersona “frees” the wp_mail function.
    
   No idea what to do now to use both Rootspersona and wpMandrill… The error I get
   is:
 * “Mandrill: wp_mail has been declared by another process or plugin, so you won’t
   be able to use Mandrill until the problem is solved.”
 * I narrowed the problem down to Rootspersona, by disabling all plugins and enabling
   them one by one.
