wp_insert_post category not working?

    Hi,

    I am trying to insert a post using an javascript ajax call but for some reason wordpress refuses to insert the post into a category!

    Exact same block of code executed in a template page works fine.

    I am including wp-load.php in the php file that the javascript is calling.

    What files i need to include to make the function work?
