WP2.0 ugrade breaks podcast RSS2 feed?

Hi there,

After lusting after the new 2.0 back-end interface for a while I decided to upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0.2 last night on my site. Almost everything went amazingly well and it was a joy to update. But…

I have a podcast RSS2 feed which is created by WordPress. I have some rewrite rules in my .htaccess as per the codex info on podcasting. Unfortunately, my podcast RSS feed seems to have died a death with the upgrade! I tried playing around with the .htaccess file to no avail. The RSS2 feed for podcasts can be found without using nice permalinks but my feed is in iTunes and I have 4000 subscribers! I don’t want to lose them by changing it.

Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution? I found a support thread which seems related but there is no resolution. Anyone got any ideas?

I was thinking of getting it working temporarily by putting a hand-coded XML feed in a /wpinstall/podcasts/feed/rss2/ directory. What filename does it need if I do this? Anybody got any ideas?
