  • That’s a rendering quirk? Are you using *nix with X11 by any chance? A Gecko-based browser like Firefox? Is it *always* like that or can it be resolved using a page refresh?

    I’m using XP Pro and Firefox 1.5 and mine looks offset like that aswell.

    its firefox 1.5!!!!

    before i had firefox 1.07 and it looked fine, as soon as a upgraded to 1.5, my blog did the same thing. I checked my site in IE to make sure that was the problem.

    I suggest going back to firefox 1.07

    I am seeing this behaviour in Firefox 1.0.7 sometimes. It is nothing out of the ordinary. Then again, Firefox 1.5 is known to be rending some pages differently from its predecessors. If it bothers you, consider alternative themes.

    Very funny. Mine started displaying it correctly now with Firefox 1.5. I didn’t change any settings anywhere whatsoever!

    ok, so there is no solution for the moment?

    yeah, delete firefox 1.5 and go back to 1.07…

    Put in your style.css this

    #footer {
    padding: 0 0 0 1px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 760px;
    clear: both;
    }

    #page > #footer {
    padding: 0;
    }

    does adding this affect the way the page looks in older versions or in other browsers (other than IE and Firefox)?
