WP Without Login and Registration-

    Hello- I would like to use WP without requiring visitors to login or register to publish posts. In other words, anyone should be able to write a post by simply going to the home page and then going to the Write Post page. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t don’t want to require users to register. I fully realize this is a “risky” approach, but this blog is for a very limited specific purpose, and I intend to hold all posts in moderation till they are cleared for publication. I don’t see any options for achieving this in WP (2.04). (I’m not feeling very smart today)…Any help would be appreciated!

    An addendum: I see the admin setting where I can make sure I moderate all comments before they are published, but I can’t find a setting that would allow me to moderate all ORIGINAL posts also before allowing them to be published. I have done this before, but now for some mysterious reason, (maybe old age), I seem to be running around in circles!

    Did you ever find a good solution for this?

    I found a plugin that might work but may be you found a better idea?

    If you go to Options / General, there is a tick in “Users must be logged in to comment” that’s probably what’s causing it. 🙂
