WP version in front page

  • Hello there
What I’d like to have is a quick way to check if there’s new version around, like seeing somewhere on the front page “Current version : 1.02”
Or maybe this info is somewhere else ?
    Thx 🙂

Version 1.2 will be widely announced I’m sure.
If you do not mind risking the occasional glitch, then from the Downloads link above, click the ‘nightly build’ link.

perhaps Matt wants u to visit WP site daily 😉
again the same reason why there are no mail notifications for replies on this support forum 😉

I think the guy meant having the current version on the front page of this site? It’s a bit annoying that the only way to check the latest version seems to be to go to the sourceforge download page.. :\

well the site has 1.2 written at the bottom which actualy denotes the version under works. i guess the original request was related to version alert in backend or something. IPB has a graphic in admin panel where it tells u if u have the latest version or not! 🙂
