# WP User Role as Segment

 * Hi there,
    first, thank you very much for your hard work and that great plugin!
   We are slowly starting to seek an alternative solution to GA, and it seems it
   could be it.
 * We would like to track the behavior of our logged-in users (so far so good with
   the “UserID” feature).
    However, we have several customs WP roles and would need
   to be able to use those as segment.
 * Do you have any idea how we could achieve that?

 * it is not possible to create a segment on a wp role.
    But you can create a segment
   with multiples conditions with or on the user id. You should be able to group
   users per their role that way. Hope it can help. Kind regards

 * thank you for your answer.
 * You are right. I managed to achieve what I wanted by mixing*User ID and a specific
   redirection to a specific starting page. All good 🙂
