WP TwentyTwelve – Major problem with navigation style/color/image/responsive

  • Hi 🙂

I am using (my own child theme of) Twenty Twelve
Everything is good except after long hours and many tries… just can’t find the way to have the .main-navigation working perfectly !

Specification : I want my menu .main-navigation li a to have a background image

Problem : Works in Chrome and Firefox, but not is IE8 (because it’s mostly all inside @media) so if I removed @media, then it looks ok on Chrome/FF, but only looks a bit better but not super in IE8. Plus, Chrome/FF doesnt give me the smaller menu for small screen since @media was remove, so looks like cr*p.

    * I have tried to load respond.src.js and css3-mediaqueries.js in the header but doest do anything

    Help needed !
