# WP to Twitter: 403 Errors

 * I’m getting this error consistently with my (beforewisdom.com)
 * > 403 Forbidden: The request is understood, but has been refused by Twitter. 
   > Possible reasons: too many Tweets, same Tweet submitted twice, Tweet longer
   > than 140 characters.
 * I read [this thread](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/twitter-api-now-requires-https?replies=2)
   by the plugin author
 * He asked people to make a separate thread for their own instances of the problem.
 * I understand that Twitter switched to HTTPS. I have not been able to figure out
   how to adjust my blog to compensate for that. I went to the settings section 
   for the WP to Twitter plugin and could not find such an option.
 * Thanks in advance for any help
