using wp 4.5 and wp tiles works on me. i don’t know what would cause your situation, but disabling other plugins changing theme or upgrading theme could help pinpointing the problem.
I have a similar issue. Site was updated to 4.5 automatically and now Tiles are not performing as expected. The grid sizing is equal throughout and images are not fully filling tiles.
Same. After my host automatically updated to 4.5 the images and formatting have all gone strange and “load more” no longer loads on the same page, but goes to a new page.

In my case there was a conflict with a theme I was using; once that was updated as well, WP-Tiles worked again as expected.
Thanks! My theme was causing an error too. They didn’t have an update yet, but someone had a fix on their forum. Changing that fixed the problem (or, rather, stopped causing the problem ^_^ )
