Just wondering whether any of you have faced something similar before and might know a solution:
I need to create a way for the users of a WP site be able to add testimonials (comments/posts), which in turn will need to be approved by the site owner. Once approved, these testimonials will be shown randomly in each page.
At first I thought about creating a post category, and create a script to show a random post from this category in each page. That is fine and is working. However, as far as I know, I can’t get an unregistered user to write a post, can I? And I definitely don’t want the users to have to register in order to write the testimonial.
The other idea was to have the testimonials to be added as comments. The thing is, if I create a page and add the comment form, once approved, comments will be displayed/attached to that page, which is not what I want.
Have you come across something similar? Any suggestions on how to let the users add testimonials to the site?
