• HELLO!

After 7 years of running several WP-based websites, I’m not sure I’ve ever been here before. I’ve had PLENTY of problems, but never came here for a solution, that I recall. So I’m not familiar with your protocols here. Anyway …

Upon trying to access my website: http://www.letgoyoga.com … I got the Error Message:

    Error establishing a database connection

I went to the wp-admin page, it said a database needed Repair. I put the line of code they gave me into config.php and reloaded the Repair page. My website DOES come up now, and without the error message (error in establishing database connection).

HOWEVER, the repair page could NOT repair one of the tables — Options. It instructed me to come here and gave me the following line to report:

zm84hznoga_options: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed

Any suggestions of what I should do now? … I’ve done next to nothing in WP Tables, EVER, and have slightly more than ZERO knowledge as to how to work with them. Meaning, I can get to the tables and start looking around, and that’s IT!

And, is there a tutorial anywhere that walks someone through the various aspects of Tables and how to work with them?

    Thank You Very Much,
    David Scott Lynn

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – then repairing that table again.
