WP-Syntax: Looking for a new maintainer (7 posts)

I'm the author of WP-Syntax. I haven't had much time to respond to support requests, maintain it, or add features in the past year or so, and I apologize for that. Honestly, I don't use WordPress as much anymore, so I'm no longer scratching my own itch.

I want the community to continue to use WP-Syntax if they find it valuable, and I want to open it up to more community involvement. I'm looking for a new maintainer who is interested in WordPress and PHP. If you are interested, please email me.** Please include other WP plugins you've worked on and what you would like to change about WP-Syntax. A patch for WP-Syntax could get you far if there needs to be a selection process.

    -Ryan McGeary

** Finding my email address is part of the selection process.

It's my pleasure to welcome two new committers to the WP-Syntax project.

Steven Zahm is the author of the Connections and Uploadify plugins.

Jason Morehouse is the author of the Clean-Contact and Checkfront Booking Plugin plugins.

rmm5t what is it you use now ? or just do not have the time as much any more ?

I am really interested in plugins and would like to get involved with some and I really like this plugin at present :).. but did not appear to work in WP 3.0, so had to back down to WP 2.9

I see there are a few votes saying WP-Syntax works with 3.0. How did the plugin not work for you?
