• Hello,

I am trying to get my transposh plugin working, but it says “We were not able to find a supported in-memory caching engine, installing one can improve performance” even though i installed what they plugins site recommends. I couldnt find anything on either site of how to deal with this. Any help would be appreciated.

  • This plugin has nothing to do with in memory caching. You’re looking for an object cache or xcache or APC..

Alright… Well, on the transposh settings dashboard, it has a link to faq about this issue (http://transposh.org/faq/#performance) and it recommends wp-super-cache. I have also tried installing a few other APC plugins, like Tribe Object Cache to see if it was just the plugin, but it still doesn’t work. Any ideas?

    Hi,

Donncha is correct, this has nothing to do with any plugins, rather installing php packages such as xcache, APC, or memcached, those are not wordpress plugins.

Installation differs depending on your distro, I can suggest talking to your webmaster/hosting firm.

wp-super-cache will increase the site performance, naturally

    🙂
