# WP Super Cache – warning content is writeable

 * I’m not a coder – and I can’t figure out what this means – or what I’m supposed
   to do about it.
 * It says this
 * > You should change the permissions on /usr/home/***/www/htdocs/wordpress/wp-
   > content and make it more restrictive. Use your ftp client, or the following
   > command to fix things: chmod 755 /usr/home/diapersadmin/www/htdocs/wordpress/
   > wp-content/
 * This page explains how to change file permissions.
 * But – I have no clue what all this means.
 * Someone?

 * I too have just installed WP Super Cache and have this error message and would
   like to know what it means exactly?
    Surely it needs to be writable? Although
   I understand it means we should make it more restrictive. Is this a major issue?
 * Even with this error message my load speed has gone from 13.92secs to 0.32 secs.
   
   So pretty awesome.
