• I had trouble with my hosting with resources limit so I installed WP super cache. I followed the instruction for installastio but when I tested it this was the result:

    Cache Tester

    Test your cached website by clicking the test button below.

    Fetching http://destinationyard.com/ to prime cache: OK
    Fetching first copy of http://destinationyard.com/:
    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/destin64/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache.php on line 900

    WHat can I do about this?

  • Just test it manually. (Logout and reload the front page, check the timestamp at the end of the source code) The plugin running on your own server can’t visit your site.

    hi,

    I tested it this morning and this was the result:

    Cache Tester

    Test your cached website by clicking the test button below.

    Fetching http://destinationyard.com/ to prime cache: OK

    Fetching first copy of http://destinationyard.com/: OK (1.html)

    Fetching second copy of http://destinationyard.com/: OK (2.html)

    The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!

    No error except for this last line, is this ok?still not sure if everythings working properly

    Does this plugin run automatically or do i have to delete cache manually?

    Your server can’t request the front page of your blog for some reason (it’s a local configuration issue on your side, nothing Supercache can do about it).

    Just do what I suggested in the previous message above.

    Hello.

    When I click on the “cache tester”, the following results gained:

    Fetching http://www.shogitech.com/wordpress-3.2.1/wordpress/ to prime cache: OK

    Fetching first copy of http://www.shogitech.com/wordpress-3.2.1/wordpress/: OK (1.html)

    Fetching second copy of http://www.shogitech.com/wordpress-3.2.1/wordpress/: OK (2.html)

    The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!

    I wonder why the screen reveals “The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!”. Is anything wrong? I want to get it clear immediately. Please help me. I have a bad headache for more than 10 days over this issue. I need your great help.

    Camry – read my replies above.

    Good morning, Donna.

    It seems that you are PC superman because you can answer every question correctly and appropriately in such a professional manner. A PC illiterate like me has to depend on you.

    Now, in accordance with your comments above, I just logout and reload the front page. However, I do not know how to “check the timestamp at the end of the source code”. I do not know the following terms even if I searched them:

    1. timestamp
    2. source code

    Even if I could check the “timestamp”, what happens next?

    I think I am getting closer to my goal to solve the issue. That’s I need your help. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance.

    Oh, I’m sorry to have made mistake on your name, Donncha. Not Donna.

    I have severe headache, please help me on this issue.

    In your browser “view source” and you’ll see the html of the page, now scroll to the end and you’ll see a timestamp. On reload that timestamp should be the same..

    Dear Donncha

    I still don’t understand what you mean.

    I went to “view source” in my browser and see the html of the page, then scroll to the end. I do not see any “timestamp” texts as shown below:

    <div id=”adminbarsearch-wrap”>
    <form action=”http://www.shogitech.com/wordpress-3.2.1/wordpress&#8221; method=”get” id=”adminbarsearch”>
    <input class=”adminbar-input” name=”s” id=”adminbar-search” type=”text” value=”” maxlength=”150″ />
    <input type=”submit” class=”adminbar-button” value=”Search”/>
    </form>
    </div>
    </div>

    </body>

    </html>

    What shall I do next now?

    What do you mean by “On reload that timestamp should be the same..”?

    I do not understand it.

    I had faced this issue and i changed to total cache plugin, it’s working smooth
