• Hi,

We use WP Super Cache using the Advanced mod_rewrite to serve cached pages and was wondering if the Adaptive Images for WordPress plugin would work? In our case, WP Super Cache bypasses WP php via the .htaccess rules and simply fetches the static html pages from /wp-content/cache/supercache/ directory. How would the Adaptive Images for WordPress plugin work in the case?

    Thank you,

    SW

    Hello, there Steve,

If the WP Super Cache does not mess with the images content types then our plugin should -and I believe will- work without any problems. Our plugin tries to take control of the designated images’ content types and serve them from a cached folder, just like the WP Super cache does with HTML. If they do not conflict there -and I believe they won’t- they should work nicely in an independent way.

Please, do let me know if this actually works as I estimated!

    Cheers,
    Takis
