# WP Super Cache Install Problems

 * I’m having difficulties following the readme instructions of WP Super Cache.
 * > Edit wp-config.php and make sure the WP_CACHE define is deleted,
 * In my wp-config, wp_cache line reads:
 *     ```
       define('WP_CACHE', true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager
       ```
   
 * So what do I do with it? Delete the whole line? Do I really need to follow everything
   in this instructions?

 * I ll suggest to first take a back up of the wp-config file and then delete that
   line and see whether the error is solved.

 * Thanks, it’s not an error. I’m just following the instructions in readme that
   comes with this plugin.

 * Well, still more challenge. It’s telling me to edit .htaccess under my wordpress
   directory, but I don’t have this file. Do I need to create it?
