    Great plugin! One question:

I see that compressing pages is recommended but not checked in the advanced settings by default.

I believe I may be one of those folks who should leave it UNchecked – as I have already enabled compression and timeout specifications in my htaccess files.

Do I understand the recommendation of leaving Compress pages so they are served more quickly unchecked?

Again, great plugin and thanks in advance for your reply.

  • I came here to ask the same question. If there are already mod deflate rules in the .htaccess is this setting still recommended?
