Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » WP Super Cache and Google Analytics Bounce Rate

  • Since installing WP Super Cache, our google bounce rate according to analytics and adwords has shot up from 10% to over 50%. I am assuming this is because the user interacts with cached page rather than the ‘real’ page which confuses analytics. Has anyone else seen this and is there an easy configuration change in WP Super Cache to fix it? I am running with pre-loaded pages for optimum performance.

  • Analytics runs on client side in users browser. On client side the cached and dynamically generated content are same. The difference is on server side. So it must not be connected as I think.
