• heard other people complain about it on Twitter as well. wp stats makes you login again and then redirects to wordpress.com instead of showing the stats in wp-admin

  • Having a problem as well. Something is leading to a 404 in the stats iframe in the dashboard. My entire domain is controlled by WordPressso this loads the WordPress front end inside of the admin panel’s stats iframe. Due to some frame busting JavaScript in my theme the Dashboard crashes completely — the 404 from the stats window breaks out of the iframe (which it should do given the code in my theme) and tries to load the stats iframe page again which just leads to a nasty redirection loop.

For those affected and unable to access the dashboard, only the front dashboard page is affected from my testing– you can deactivate the stats plugin either by deleting its folder (wp-stats) inside of your plugins folder or visit:

    http://your.wordpress.url/wp-admin/plugins.php

    and deactivate it as normal.

Use the #wpstats or #wpstatsfail hashtags to watch/post updates on Twitter.

Well, I’m glad I’m not alone with this problem. All my sights are asking me to login but the odd part is they’re asking me to log in to one specific blog I manage.

I´m having the exact same problem.

Having the same problem here. But I think this has got something to do with it: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/09/30/sexy-stats/

WP is updating WP stats, but the plugin for stand alone WP sites is not yet up and running. Once it is, we should be OK again.

    Hope so!

I’m having the same problem. When I click on the wordpress.com stats on my wordpress.org site it asks for my username and password and won’t accept my wordpress.org info. It only takes my wordpress.com info and redirects me to the stats for one of my other blogs!!!

i have no stats either, just redirects to wordpress.com login. doesn’t show stats on wordpress.com dashboard either. 🙁

    Yup, me too here….
    Can’t access my stats.

    Solved:
Try to reset wordpress.org password, and login with new password.
    Its works with me…

    the same for me too…

    need stats ASP!!! :(((((((

As of about 10 minutes ago, wp-stats on our .org sites are working again, but have reverted to the old line graph format.

Looks like someone at Automattic is paying attention, even if not responding here?

    Go refresh yours.

Yup. Mines back up and running!

PS I am sure Automattic are lurking here! 😉

    I’m also having this problem.
