# WP Stats Not Accepting API Key

 * Is this a bug or is it just me? I enter a valid API key which already works fine
   with Askimet and I get the following message even if I try to re-enter the key.
   I have even tried setting up a new API key but same thing:
 * WordPress.com Stats
    The API key “XXXXXXXXXXX” belongs to the WordPress.com account
   of “XXXXXXX”. If this is not your account, please re-enter your API key. (NB.
   I have removed actual key and username from this message for privacy reasons)
 * Add new blog to my account
    Do this if this blog is new or has never been associated
   with your API key. This blog will be added to your WordPress.com account.
