After installing this, I started to get “Database Not Selected” errors coming from some of the other functions on the page. Blog posts were unaffected. I looked at the_stats() and found that if I commented out the last statemend, mysql_close();, that everything returned to working as intended.
Did I screw up something somewhere else, or was this just an obvious oversight? I would assume the former, but I can’t see what I did wrong.

i’ve run the sql script, activated the plugin, however, when adding the the_stats(); call in my index.php (near the end of the file, i’m getting the following error : Unknown function: the_stats() in …
the only thing i can think of is that my blog at http://www.jerhome.net is in fact a subsite of my main site (my isp gives me the ability to configure several domain names in different subfolders of my main www folder).
