  • Ah . . .
    Now it becomes clear.
My statistics have gotten steadily worse in the past few weeks, compared with those from Google Analytics.
I see this seems to coincide with the activation of the LiteSpeed plugin.
    The developer has no answer.

    yes. it has poor support.

so you can use jetpack which is compatible with litespeed cache and much more functionalities

    good luck

    Nah.
I got rid of Jetpack some time ago.
It made a noticeable difference to the speed of my website.
The only thing I miss is access to the site from the WordPress android app, in case I need to make a change on the run. It just doesn’t work without Jetpack.
WP Statistics support is terrible. It takes them days to get back to you and that is after repeated requests. I jumped in boots and all and bought the whole options package. Most of it is superfluous and now it hardly works at all. They’ve offered me a 70 per cent refund.

    Here’s something weird.
I reinstalled Jetpack just for the hell of it, then deactivated it again.
And bingo! WP Statistics springs back to life . . . What do you make of that?

Same issue here : WP statistics jumps all over the place (mainly down), while analytics is steadily growing. Litespeed cache recently activated.
