WP Statisitics error messages on General Settings page

Hi, I have started receiving these two messages recently within the plugin General Settings dash –
Error downloading GeoIP database from: http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoLite2-Country.mmdb.gz – Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable.
Also,
Error downloading GeoIP database from: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wp-statistics/GeoLite2-City/master/GeoLite2-City.mmdb.gz – Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable.
In addition I no longer have the WP dashboard panels display even though the plugin settings have not changed – so have to resort to using the links furnished by the plugin to access statistics and charts within the plugin.
Is this behavior introduced with the last update? Will it be corrected soon?

Hi,
My WordPress Admin dashboard used you display the panels with the stats for my website. The last two updates the feature was either eliminated or broken.
So the plugin has its own dash with the “Screeb Options” tag but it does nothing to help the problem with the display on the Admin WordPress dashboard.
I’m running the version 12.6.1 but it is almost useless at this point.
That’s too bad because it is a plugin that showed promise. Maybe time to switch to another plugin.
