wp-stat not collecting stats

After I change the path to wp-content via config.php, there are quite a number of plugins stop working (because they hardcode another set of paths instead of re-using the existing ones) including wp-stats. I am not too sure how wp-stats work, but I can’t view the flash graph (movie not loaded) in the stats dashboard, and the logs don’t get collected…
