    Hello guys,

unfortunately, the fatal error from the link below is still not fixed, even not in Swift 2.x!

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-do-not-use-static-path-in-must-use-plugin-breaking-staging-sites/

I get several complains about this issue by users who create a staging site and uses the swift plugin. The swift mu-plugin causes a fatal error which kills the staging site immediately with an error 500 and a blank page.

The average WordPress user even does not know that this issue is caused by the swift plugin because they do not have the debug log activated. So the reaction is that I get more and more complains about this.

I redirect all the time the affected users to the thread above in the hope that they will open another support ticket to make you guys fixing this.

I can not support this issue any longer, and I hate to do it but until this is fixed by you I need to create a new wp staging update which disables the swift plugin on any wp staging site.

If you need more technical details you can reach me anytime at support [at] wp-staging.com

On the other hand, you should have all the details in the thread above.

    Cheers
    René
