WP squeeze and thank you page

    I’m working on a website and want to give away a product, so I want a
    squeeze page (and thank ou page). I have some questions:

    1. I want both the squeeze page and thank you page to be very simple, not showing the theme I’m using, just very plain. I’ve seen other websites like this so I know it can be done, I just don’t know how to do it. How do I get the 2 pages to look completely different without showing the theme?

    2. How do I keep from showing the thank you and download page on the website? I just want it to be accessed from my autoresponder link and not to show up on ‘Pages’ on my website.

    what i do is first set up a pre-sell page or give away page on the site with the same template , with good info and content on the product, then second, add a couple of links to the squeeze page within the content and then third insert an opt-in form from aweber and link it directly to the sales page or download page. This way you will send them to the product page and at the same time get them listed with aweber , and also if you are promoting an affiliate product , you can avoid the latest google slap this way.

    If you want to use wordpress for such set up it will all depend on the theme you are using.

    Maybe if you give your URL plus an example site you are trying to emulate then I might be able to help.

    What I tend to do is set up 2 wordpress installs and use the sales letter theme on one install (example at: http://www.bloggersink.com/ ) and a different theme for the other then link the two via the menu bar.
