WP shortcode do not work in Templates | WordPress.org

I am running Newsletter Plugin v4.5.4.
None of the WP shortcodes work.
[wpmlblogname]
[wpmldate format=%Y]
When sending these templates the receivers gets:
[wpmlblogname]
[wpmldate format=%Y]
instead of the site information of sender.

How can this be solved?
Hope to get this time an solution.

Can you please provide more details on how you are sending?

Are you sending to list(s) or role(s)?
Are you queuing or using Ajax progress to send/queue?
Are you sending a preview only?

I look forward to your response with more information.

Thanks for answering.
Only [shortcodes] are shown in emails.
In preview also only [shortcodes] shown. No sitevars at all.
I have deactivated ALL installed plugins and test a preview again.
Still only [shortcodes] shown. No sitevars at all.
