 * Hi,
 * I noticed a security warning (after a security scan) indicating that my wp-settings.
   php file throws an error message.
    The blog is working fine! My setup is “complex”:
   I’m using WordPress as a docker image with an Apache reverse proxy, e.g. [https://xyz.net/blog/wp-settings.php](https://xyz.net/blog/wp-settings.php)
 * Is this “error” normal? It seems that it happens because of putting my blog in
   a subfolder xyz.net/blog
 * Any ideas?
 *     ```
       Warning: Use of undefined constant ABSPATH - assumed 'ABSPATH' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /var/www/html/wp-settings.php on line 19

       Warning: require(ABSPATHwp-includes/load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wp-settings.php on line 19

       Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'ABSPATHwp-includes/load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /var/www/html/wp-settings.php on line 19
       ```
 * Hello,
 * I think it should be the ../wp-option.php instead of ../wp-settings.php
    please
   do have a look link below related to your issue and the link is [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-fatal-error-regarding-abspath/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-fatal-error-regarding-abspath/)
 * I hope this helps.
    Thank you.
 * Thanks for your reply. I found this thread but there is no solution in it. The
   user contacted his hoster and they fixed something. I’m my own hoster and I’ll
   fix it if I know what to fix…
 * if anyone stumbles across…
    I did solve it by switching from a sub directory
   to a subdomain (e.g. from [https://xyz.net/blog/](https://xyz.net/blog/) to [https://blog.xyz.net](https://blog.xyz.net)),“
   error” is gone now
