Hi dlpirl, Did you also prior to this issue update any plugins, theme or WordPress to the latest version 4.2? Did you try to revert what ever you say you tightened?

If you disable the plugin does your RSS feed work again?

Thanks for the quick reply, mbrsolution.

Prior to noticing the rss issue I 1) updated 3 themes I am not using, 2) updated WordPress from 4.1.2 to 4.2, and 3) installed one new 4.1.2 compatible plugin, FancyBox for WordPress.

I tried Disabling the WP Security plugin and the rss looks the same.

I’m afraid I didn’t document the WP Security setting changes I made.

I did notice via my iPhone feedly app that my rss feed had lost all images before I upgraded WP to 4.2, so I don’t think that was the cause.

Hi Don do you have a cache plugin? If you do can you delete the cache.

    When you say …..

I tried Disabling the WP Security plugin and the rss looks the same.

That means the issue is coming from one of your updates that is conflicting with WordPress 4.2.

    No cache plugin here.

Remember that I saw the issue on my feedly rss feed BEFORE upgradign to Wp 4.2.

What would cause images and Post titles to not appear in the rss feed? (That’s what’s happening. The whole feed isn’t gone. Its just missing those items.)

Turn off all the features of the security plugin (you can do this in one go from the settings). Then deactivate the plugin. If you still see the issue after that the it is likely the issue is coming from another source (another plugin or theme).

OK. I disabled all Security Settings and all Firewall Settings from WP All in One WP Security, then disabled it. No change in the RSS feed, so you’re off the hook. 😉

    Thank you reporting back.

Can you mark this support thread as resolved since the issue is with another plugin.

    Kind regards

the problem is that its not possible to remove all settings of all plugins from the DB before deactivating them, so its not possible to isolate the source of the problem.

I think this should be a standard feature of WP for debugging issues, but it seems its not.
