WP Says Updated, but Site is Not

    Sorry if I repeat a previous post. But finally upgraded, when I finish the process, it says I am upgraded, but my site is still 2.3.1.
    A previous post suggested that not all files were copied. How can I confirm that all files were correctly copied? ANd if they are not, what do I do?

    Just do upload the files again. If your FTP client allows you to save a protocol of the transmission or to write a logfile, do it and take a look into the file, if not, use a client which gives you this option. If you see no messages suggesting an error in this log, your upload seems to be fine and the files are correctly copied.

    What are you basing this on? If you’re basing it on the <meta> generator tag, you might just need to flush your cache.
