I’m totally confused/helpless as to how to access my WordPress Administrative/Dashboard area so I can create my blog. Help at WP gives me UID/PW that don’t work. UID/PW from Metropolis don’t work.

Sure would appreciate any feedback/suggestions from anyone who can help. Thanks.

My suggestion would be to not use Metropolis to install WordPress. Install it yourself. It’s easy.

Still, did you run the WordPress install after Metropolis installed it for you? They should give you a link to go to. Something like http://example.com/wordpress/wp-admin or something? That will run the install, and that’s where you get your username and password for WordPress. It will be a different username and password than GoDaddy or Metropolis gives you.

I also have GoDaddy hosting. I did install WordPress through Metropolis, but I downloaded my own theme template and uploaded it through the FTP client.

You should be able to access your admin panel by typing /wp-admin after your blog’s URL, as Otto suggested.
