wp-quotes

WP-Quotes is exactly what I need, except I want to implement a limit on the words in the random quote function. I’ve asked the guy who wrote the plugin but I think he is long gone and never coming back.

Would anyone be interested in telling me how to do this? I’m not knowledgeable in PHP, so…I need some help. Thanks very much.
