    As i can see on the web it seems like a great plugin ! but on my part i seem to have difficulties with it...

    I am using Apprise theme and i asked the creator of the theme where should i put this : <?php if(function_exists('the_views')) { the_views(); } ?> and he said in the content-single.php after the_content(); . I did so, it shows 0 views and never counting...

    I checked if i had <?php wp_head(); ?> in the header.php & <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer.php and its fine...

    In the admin page of all the articles the views are not counting too...

    BUT in the widget it works !!! so if it works in the widget i know it is not a lost cause...

    I hope you can help me,

    In the admin pages, the views will not count, it will only shows in the views. I suggest you change to the default theme to see if it works first.

    The code <?php if(function_exists('the_views')) { the_views(); } ?> doesn't count the views, it justs displays the views.

    Whereas the <?php wp_head(); ?> in the header.php & <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer.php is required for it to count the views.

    Also, are you using any caching plugin?

    Hi! I believe I'm experiencing a similar issue and I do not know how to resolve it as I am taking over, without developper and very little info.

    The views are counted in admin and search results, but not displayed on post (anecdote in our case) page.

    Please let me know what I can do - step-by-step please as I am learning!
