WP Post Stats 2.2 has crashed my entire WordPress 3.83 website!

    I just installed WP Post Stats 2.2 on a WordPress website using WordPress version 3.83 (which the plugin claims it is compatible with) and the DIVI theme (version 1.7) by Elegant Themes, and the plugin has completely crashed my website! Everything is down!

    Here is the error message, which it appears is essentially the same as one other users of this plugin have gotten over the past year:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function screen_icon() in /homepages/6/d213242484/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/RhodeIslandConCon/wp-content/plugins/wp-post-stats/post-stats-options.php on
    line 148

    I was able to use filezilla to uninstall the plugin and now everything is back to working. Quite a relief! But shame on WP Post Stats 2.2 for not working as advertised.
