WP Plugin: Which hook to use to display pop-up box on homepage?

    I want to display a pop-up box on my homepage but I’m not sure which hook exactly should I use to add my action to?

    I went with get_footer but that doesn’t fully suit my needs because the page height is variable and I can’t rely on that when building absolutely positioned box (I want to page-center it).

    Any advice?
