WP-Paginate does not work

Hi, I’m new to HTML and WordPress, I installed WP-Paginate, and it doesn’t want to work on my site.

My theme is AWaken (https://themezhut.com/awaken-wordpress-theme-documentation/#m8), I think Paginate can’t find the CSS that needs to be modified – or am I just talking nonsense.

Any help would be appreciated.
