    @vbcruiser

    How do I make a page that will direct a user to the forum when they click on the forum link in the WP nav bar?

    Thanks

  • Use the A HTML element

    I hope this helps!

    Would either of you please help me out and elaborate on this.

    I am trying to use WordPress as the the homepage, even a sort of CMS for a forum I have; http://moviepals.net/forum, and small items like this are preventing me.

    I am using pemralinks, and the permalink edit field for my “Home” (should link to wp index.php) and “Registration” (goes to vbulletin) pages simply will not accept addresses with file extensions as links.

    Frustrating, maybe I am overlooking a simple solution.

    Thank you!

    Well, in WordPress, you can use a custom permalink structure of /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ so that index.php doesn’t show in the post/page links.

    then how do I link a page back to my home page or to my registration page, which has a .php extension?

    What is the “postname” of the home page?

    Thanks!
