 * Howdy,
 * My site is rather large, and when I run the preload (which takes quite a while),
   as it gets toward the end of the preload, it causes high loads on my VPS.
 * My server logs show the same URL being accessed for caching up to 9 times in
   the same second. This seems like the obvious suspect causing the server load.
 * Can you suggest what may be causing the preload to behave this way, and what
   I can do to stop it?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * Could you share some of your server log using a tool such as pastebin.com? I’d
   like to look through the preloader running to see if I can identify what could
   be causing this.
 * We also do have some filters available to limit how quickly the preloader runs
   between URLs and to adjust the memory threshold that could help reduce the server
   load spikes on your site, but I’d like to take a look through the log first to
   see if I can identify the behaviour.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * Thanks so much for sending that over. Could you enable the additional logging
   in WP-Optimize > Settings > Logging settings and set the option to “Log events
   into the PHP error log”? I’d like to compare the preloader entries with the server
   logs that were sent over to see if we’re logging that the URL is accessed multiple
   times.
 * Thanks!

 * Done. What steps do I take after I enable logging?

 * Hi,
 * Thanks so much for that. With the logging enabled can you run the preloader and
   send me a copy of the PHP error log?
 * An alternative is to enable the WordPress Debug log by editing the wp-config.
   php file and this should write a file in wp-content called debug.log. Let me
   know if you want me to send the steps to enable the WordPress Debug Log.
 * Thanks!

 * It doesn’t appear to be writing anything to my site’s error_log. I also tried
   logging to email. No output.
 * I did notice that the preload page said that it found 1041 URLs in the sitemap,
   but when it was done, there were 1955 files in the cache.
 * Thanks.
