 * Love version 3. FYI: The WP Optimize cache message is not needed if that cache
   is not active on the site.

 * Hi [@jcollier](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jcollier/),
 * Thank you for the kind words about version 3 and for this report, it’s a good
   catch.
 * You’re right, the message shouldn’t be there if WP-Optimize’s page cache is switched
   off.
   I’m already looking into it. The plugin currently detects WP-Optimize by
   its mere presence, while WP-Optimize is a multi-purpose plugin and its page cache
   is a separate feature that many people keep disabled. So the fix is to check
   whether the page caching feature is actually enabled, not just whether the plugin
   is installed.
 * It also affects a bit more than the message itself: with the current detection,
   the “Pages (HTML)” option steps aside for WP-Optimize even when its cache is
   off. I’ll cover that too and fix it in the next update.
 * Best regards,
   Kostya Tereshchuk

 * [@jcollier](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jcollier/) Thanks again for the
   report! It made the plugin better for everyone who uses WP-Optimize just for
   database cleanup.
   The fix is done. Version 3.2.1 will be available to update
   in about 24 hours. The plugin no longer treats WP-Optimize (or any of the 12
   supported caching plugins) as an active page cache unless its page caching is
   actually switched on. So after updating, the note will disappear on your site,
   and the “Pages (HTML)” option will work as intended.
