# WP on local pc issues

 * First I’d like to say that I believe I followed Podz’s excellent instructions.
   I just have 2 problems. One is permalinks. Every post and page comes up with 
   the 404 error. I did update the apache httpd.conf file. Did I miss something 
   else?
 * Second problem is trying to login to WP admin. I am getting a lot of ‘headers
   already sent’ errors from plugins I use (e.g. awstats and category-levels). I
   deleted my local copy of awstats first, but then got the category-levels errors.
   Did I miss a step here, too?
 * Thanks for any help you can suggest.
