# WP not generating preview

 * Since my latest update wp doesnt generate previews for posts. \I know few tackled
   the subject previously none of them resolved it, there was even an idiot who 
   suggested that the solution was to publish the post to view it, except that if
   you hap[pen to have subscribers to your posts they will receive an unfinished
   post, so please think before you answer. if not is there any way to go back to
   the previous wordpress version?

 * Preview fails to display edits in Gutenberg (current theory of the problem: autosave
   is triggered a 2nd time by metaboxes without post edits and the edits therefore
   don’t show up in a preview) · Issue #12617 · WordPress/gutenberg
 * If I refresh the tab with the preview on it, it will then see the new content
   instead of the old content. Some kind of timing issue.
