I’ve read that your plugin supports internationalization and I tried editing the ninja-forms.po file using Poedit and when saving it as es_ninja-forms.po, I receive this errors:

    21:41:16: /Users/vcantu/Documents/CycleNetworks/Clientes/Cantubos/plugins/ninja-forms.po:953: duplicate message definition…
21:41:16: /Users/vcantu/Documents/CycleNetworks/Clientes/Cantubos/plugins/ninja-forms.po:581: …this is the location of the first definition
    21:41:16: /Applications/ found 1 fatal error

I’d appreciate if you give me some tips.

By the way, I offer to make the translation into spanish, if you’re interested in.

    Thanks in advance,

The po file was created by the automatic WordPress script here in the repo. It appears that either it added something twice or we could have done something wrong. It’s hard to tell off hand.

Try removing the line 581 definition form each file and see how that works. We’ll try and do some more testing soon as I really no nothing about the localization side of this process.

Thank you very much James, it worked by deleting lines 581, 582 and 583:

    #: includes/field_editor_functions.php:133
    msgid “Progress Bar”
    msgstr “”

Also, something that I didn’t know is that the file needs to be named ninja-forms-es_ES.po and that the .mo file is also needed.

I had an error message which required of me to update this plug in to a newer version! In the process I lost all the forms I previously created – am I some how able to retrieve all of the work I did on these forms? AND I also cannot see the Forms icon that should appear in the WP section when working on a page – please advise on these two issues – I have the Lite version?

    Many thanks

It sounds like there is something weird going on that may or may not be related to Ninja Forms. All of the form data is stored within your MySQL database, and the most recent Ninja Forms updates don’t do anything to modify those. Perhaps another plugin modified your WordPress MySQL Tables?

I’m guessing that you mean the link to “Ninja Forms Lite” doesn’t appear in the WordPress admin menu? That is really strange. My best advice is to deactivate the plugin, delete it from your FTP, and then re-upload the plugin and reactivate it.

In the future, unless your issues are similar to those being discussed in a particular thread, it’s better to create a new topic.
