Support » Networking WordPress » WP Network Vs Single Database-Multiple WP Installations? Which One is Preferable

  • I Don’t know if this is the correct place to post this(If isn’t please move it to the correct topic)

I am planning to build multiple WordPress websites in which the users who sign up for one will always be the same across other installations. So either I have to install all of those in a single database and use the same users or I can install a WordPress network (then use dedicated IP and domain mapping).
Which one would you suggest to go ahead with and why? What may the problems that I may face in either of these?
    All suggestions highly appreciated !

  • I can’t think of a way that using multisite would either help or hinder. Each multisite site has its own tables in the database.

It’s six of one, half a dozen of the over really.

That to me says “MULTISITE” since it’s built in 🙂
