WP Nav Menu Problem (Big Bug of WP)

  • Hi Guys;

    I’m trying to make underlined in menu whichever page is open. But so far it doesn’t work properly. I used this code in order to do it ;

    #menu ul li.current_page_item {text-decoration:underline;}

    It works fine as long as I go pages which are not top pages on the menu. But whenever I go top menu pages they underline themselves and items under them.

    The thing you guys are thinking right now to tell me in order to solve this problem “Use PHP” . I know I can do it. But why should I put something on my page which will make it even more slower ? I have more than 20 menu items so it means 20 query or so. So it obviously wont work that way.

    So far I couldn’t find any solution for this problem and as far as I see it`s the biggest problem on this system.

    It’s not a bug in WordPress. It’s an issue in your theme’s CSS but unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.
