WP Native Photo Captions

    Hello All,

    When the “Caption” field (for image uploads) is used in conjunction with the native WP photo gallery to display a blurb about each image the UI has one line where the user can enter text. Needless to say if you enter 2 paragraphs it is impossible to make copy edits. I went ahead and changed the field type in wp-admin/includes/media.php from text to textarea so that the users can expand the work area but ran into issues, specifically loosing the ability to enter html into the field and properly save the information into the DB.

    Anyway you guys can incorporate this very small change into the next release?
