    There is no reason the change password wouldn’t work in that version of WP, and it is unlikely there is anything in the profile update that wouldn’t either. However, 3.0.5 is not what I could consider “slightly” older – anything that is not current is a security risk (what with all the js malware hacks going on out there), so I just don’t support it.

    If these are not working for you, it is possible that you have the members area page that runs these functions set to be blocked. If you have the plugin set to block pages by default, then the members area page should be set to unblock (with a custom field). With what you described, that is the most common problem.

    The other possible issue, although less common, is a caching plugin in compatibility.

    I would love to upgrade to the latest WP but not able to due to some plugins I used. Checked, no blocking of the member area page or caching issue. Still, thanks for the WP-Members, it is wonderful.
